Not Your Ordinary Sun Dress!

Here again, the mixture of prints and solids make this little number interesting and fun. Dress it up with a little red jacket , or play it down with a denim vest.

The black purse has the same “top stitch” detailing as the dress. Each item plays off of the other in tandum  for a very finished look!

Perfect Dress For Easter

Spring Bursts Forward With Blooming Color

I love the the pattern of red roses and pearl chains popping against the soft pink palette. So demure, yet so inviting! Great little number for Easter.

The little purple off the shoulder top looks fabulous with a little white skirt and then popped with the stunning floral cuff.  The cuff is made with  the fabric of vintage kimonos.  Take a close look.  Can you see the  flaming hot pink hibiscus against an orange sunset.  Stunning!

Classic Navy/White Stripes Kicked Up A Notch!

It’s all in the mix of patterns and fabrics.  This little navy/white stripe cardigan could easily look very “poopy” if not paired with the right stuff!

As long as I’ve been in business, no one has ever asked me to dress them “poopy”!

The Power of a Hit of Color!

Fashion 101:  Black bottom, white top.  Now pop it with a splash of color, as in these funky little flower purses.  Just enough for a bit of cash, credit card and lipstick.  Clip it to your belt/belt loop or hang on your wrist.  Love, love, love it!

It’s Not About Cost!

Style is Style.  Price is not the determining factor. The embroidered sachel is $100.  The brown/pink leopard print bag is only $69.   If I didn’t already know the price, I would think they were worth $300 or more.   You don’t have to mortgage the house to buy accessories/statement pieces.  When I go to market I am always looking for the most value for your dollar.  Sometimes it’s less than more. Other times it’s more than less.  But, I know the difference and share it with you!

Katheryn Hepburn Inspired!

This beautiful lady shops at JMS. She is blessed with a slim long waist so she is able to take advantage of the upcoming trend of a high-waist design. It’s the opposite of the low waist look that has been with us for a few years. The high-waist fit is actually so old it’s new again, reminiscent of the 40′s Katharine Hepburn wide leg pant with high waist.  How better to do it for our hot climate then in shorts!

One surprise? She was wearing the blouse when she came in. It couldn’t have been more perfect tucked into the shorts. Yes – We work with our client’s own items: It leverages your existing investment and expands the palette I can work with.

I can absolutely see this with high-heeled, sexy shoes and gobs of gold chain necklaces and pearls.

The Mesh Duster: Finishing Piece to Outfit

It’s mostly too hot in Southwest Florida to wear a jacket, but women still want to look dressed even in the most casual circumstances.

Viola! So simple! Comfy white cotton, pull-on pants and a striped tee with a mesh duster, finalizing the LOOK.  Stay cool. Look hot!

Rocco Crocco Pants With Bolero

The cropped bolero fits multiple needs. It finishes the outfit even in the hottest weather! It provides a bit of coverage for the arms and keeps us comfortable when freezing in the A/C!!!

Wear it over the longer fitted layered tee – it lengthens the torso. Throw it on with the Simon Chang’s Rocco Crocco jeans.  You’re dressed without even thinking about it!

Seven Waves

Shape, color and content. These elements are the foundation to customizing the right look for your body and what I apply to make “it” happen for you!

I love to mix the “funky” with the “classic” such as this trendy little tee shirt and classic evening jacket. When it comes together, the look projects both imagination and confidence.
