We are “opening up” JMS to the public!

Because of the way I work, I’m generally not available out front in our studio. Instead, I’m communicating with, preparing for, or working with clients.

Rather than follow the traditional path of opening to the public, we’re doing something unique and interesting.

We’re creating alternate, distinctive spaces – both virtual and real – that will allow us to open up in a whole new way, and they include:

We want getting started with JMS to be not only easier than ever, but also a special experience in itself.

We’re adopting our Stylebooks to create a special space open to anyone who asks.

Our Stylebooks are private, secure websites we create where only you and we have access.  We’ll create one for you and load it with information so you can learn about JMS and interact with us too.

To make it a treat you can be excited about getting and opening up, we invite you to do it with no obligation to make an appointment or shop with us.

Anyone can request their own Stylebook online at janetmariestuios.com, or to come visit us at the studio and we’ll set it up for you on the spot!

Inside their Stylebook they’ll find:

1. A quick personal introduction from Judy
2. Introductory material on JMS
3. Their very own Style Brief – our entrée to our all-inclusive style services
4. An invitation to share a little about themselves so we can interact

Since we work by appointment, we want to give you a special space to get to know us before you feel any need to decide whether you’re interested in shopping here or not.

It’s just another way we try to make Janet Marie Studios the most special shopping experience there is!

We’re rolling out a major upgrade to our original, appointment-based shopping format:

The option of complete, all-inclusive personal styling and wardrobe services – at no charge – through your shopping appointments.

Everything you love stays just the same, but now you have an entirely new set of style services at your disposal just for shopping with us.

WHAT IS IT?

It’s everything a traditional personal stylist provides – both styling and wardrobe consulting.

There’s no charge.  As I explain below, we re-imagined how to provide all of it through your appointments so we wouldn’t have to charge.

It’s all optional.  If you’re not interested it’s not a problem – it’s your choice!  However, if you are interested, there’s no reason not to indulge because it’s available automatically through your appointments.

Welcome! Our website is now located where it should be: www.janetmariestudios.com.

We’ve combined our blog with a website using a magazine style theme: Each post will fall under a category like New Merchandise, Events, or Style, and will be prominently presented on our front page.

Informational pages about our boutique and how to contact us are included in navigational tabs on the top right.  Also, we’ve more closely integrated Twitter and Facebook – see the right hand side of the front page.
